Alfresco Share is the legacy user interface for the Alfresco Content Services platform. It provides tools for document management, collaboration, and project management.


Active development on Alfresco Share has been discontinued, and it will eventually be replaced by the new Alfresco Content Application (ACA), which is built on the Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF).

Alfresco Content Application (ACA) is the new user interface that will gradually replace Alfresco Share.


ACA is a file management application built with Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF) components and generated using Angular CLI.


It provides a streamlined experience for managing content in Alfresco Content Services, offering an extendable environment for rapid custom application development with safe ways to add custom controls, viewer components, pages, and plug-ins without upgrade concerns.
